Qukeld service is guided by National Quality Framework and is committed to the highest standards of professional practice by our educators and staff. We adhere to the guiding principles of the National Quality Framework, which are to:

Our commitment to the safety of children

We are totally committed to providing safe and secure environment for all children in Qukeld service. We believe in every child’s right to feel physically, emotionally, socially and culturally safe. In carrying out our responsibilities we have put in place procedures that minimise risks to children health and wellbeing.

Our commitment to Children

We assist children to grow in confident and socially competent members of our community and encourage them to embrace the world as they grow up and to engage respect and honesty with all members of our community. We demonstrate this by:

  • Embracing and supporting each child’s sense of Belonging, Being and Becoming.
  • Facilitating children’s learning through play-based experiences, discovery, creativity, exploration of the natural and built environments, and social and community interactions.
  • Maintaining responsive and trusting relationships with children in our care, parents and our community.
  • Complying fully with the National Quality Standard
  • Committing to and implementing the Early Years Learning Framework and My Time Our Place, a Framework for School Age Care
  • Respecting children’s rights as stipulated in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
