Child/ Family Enrolments

Dear Parent/Guardian

Queensland Kids Early Learning Daycare is a registered Family Day Care Scheme operating from Redbank Plains. We currently have educators located in the Brisbane, Ipswich and Toowoomba districts. We are regulated by the Department of Education, Training and Employment.

We engage, support, and provide resources to inspire Educators to work in conjunction with families to enable each child to reach their full potential. In implementing our vision QUKELD will act in a professional and respectful manner while valuing diversity. The best interests of the child is always our primary focus and in doing so we respect the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.

QUKELD Service strives to provide excellent and professional home based education and care environments, where each child will be assisted to grow and become confident and socially competent members of our community. Our service believes that by working in partnership with educators and providing them with support and training, we will provide an environment where children can achieve their full potential. We take into consideration the individual needs and interests of each child and welcome input from families as we form collaborative partnerships with parents and respect their roles as the child’s first and primary educators.

We hold high standards regarding professionalism and all educators working for us must ensure they meet/exceed standards. The coordination unit visits educators regularly; these visits are a mix of scheduled visits and surprise visits. Educators must be able to ensure on any visit that all expectations are met.

Educators provide this care with full understanding that children need to be safe, to feel safe and to have access to professional carers where attachments are made and trust is built and continued. Educators will take every opportunity to nurture, encourage and enhance children’s learning within the atmosphere of the natural environment of a home. Educators plan and extend on children’s learning with emphasis on children’s choice. A mix of intentional teaching and children’s choice activities will be accommodated into the program.

Under the Department of Education, Training and Employment regulations ALL educators MUST have or be working towards a Certificate III or higher level in an Education and Care/ Children’s Services field. This ensures the care every single one of our educators can give your child is of the highest quality.

Many of our educators provide the children’s food during care hours. All educators are aware of Healthy Eating Practices and must ensure that children’s food is appropriate for their age and stage of development. Educators are all trained in Anaphylaxis but are vigilant when dealing with children with allergies/sensitivities (to food and other items) to avoid the need for such practice arising.

If you would like to enrol your child please give Rebecca a call on (07) 3814 3173 or download the forms listed below and return with a copy of your child's vaccination certificate via email to or alternatively post or drop it in to the office at 18 Nicholls Drive, Redbank Plains.

The coordination unit are here to support both the Educators and Parents/Children alike. If we can be of any assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Kind Regards,

Rebecca Doak
